Science communication is a vital part of the scientific process.
Like other researchers, I publish a lot of scientific articles that are very technical and sometimes behind paywalls (open access fees are expensive!). But, one of the most important and rewarding parts of science is being able to share my work in an accessible way by writing blog posts for everyone to enjoy and engage with science!
Besides writing the occasional Fossil Friday post of my own, I also regularly blog for Time Scavengers, a geoscience education and outreach non-profit. I have also written several articles through work, including for the Canadian Ocean Acidification Community of Practice (OA CoP). Check out some of my posts here:
